Raw Living Spirulina is a complete whole super concentrated living food. For general long-term maintenance of micronutrients, 1-1.5 ounces per day (1 full-rounded tablespoon) is sufficient for most people on a plant-based lifestyle. However, for maximum short-term benefits, such as heavy detox, internal cleansing, and intracellular rejuvenation — upwards of 1 pound (1 jar) per day for 3-7 days of fasting can dramatically improve the entire body’s health.
There are a few variables one needs to look at.
First, the jar must be consumed fresh within 12 days of receiving it. It is safe after that; however, this is the approximate time the living cells stay whole and alive. If you want to keep it longer, freeze it in single-serving ice cube tray portions.
If one is on a 100% plant-based lifestyle and has no health challenges, 1.3 ounces daily first thing in the morning is enough to maintain sufficient micronutrient levels without supplementation.
For those consuming animal products, 2-3 ounces per day would be necessary to maintain the same rations of micronutrients depending on age and overall health and wellness of the individual. There are a lot of factors to consider.
