Raw Living Spirulina is like a gourmet cream (nut) cheese or yogurt pudding with almost no smell or taste, unlike powdered Spirulina which smells and tastes very unpleasant. When it is freshly harvested it is clean pure, earthy and delicious.
As time passes after 12-14 days in the refrigerator it begins to convert into a probiotic like sauerkraut and does take on a bit of the fermentation effect.
