It is recommended for customers to prevent cross-contamination with any animal products. The product should be consumed before the best-by date if stored in the refrigerator or frozen immediately upon receipt and consumed within three months of harvest. It is crucial to keep Fresh Spirulina cold at all times.
Harvesting: Fresh Raw Living Spirulina is harvested every Monday and Tuesday when it reaches its optimal stage for harvesting. Unlike other methods, Raw Living Spirulina is not frozen or processed. Instead, it is packaged in glass jars within 12 hours of harvest after cooling to 38-40 degrees Fahrenheit. The packaged product is then shipped the same day. Harvesting is done exclusively for orders that are in the processing stage.
Shipping Information: We ship orders via FedEx on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Delivery times typically range from 1-2 days, depending on the recipient’s location and the order in which it was received. Various factors such as weather conditions, system cleaning and culture refresh cycles, harvest quantities, holidays, and sales volume may occasionally delay your order. In such cases, we will manually adjust the subscription dates accordingly to maintain account shipping frequency. Once your order is shipped and the shipping label is created, tracking notifications will be automatically sent to the email address associated with your account. If you have not received a tracking notification, your order has not yet been shipped. We appreciate your patience as we strive to expedite the shipping process as efficiently as possible.
Raw Living Spirulina cannot ensure the on-time delivery of orders to business addresses as offices may be closed or inaccessible. You acknowledge and accept this potential risk by opting for a business ship-to-address.
Due to a 48-hour change delay within FedEx, we cannot request FedEx to reroute packages to a different address once FedEx has possession.
Please do not use a P.O. Box as the shipping address since we do not work with USPS services.
International Shipping: Although we can ship anywhere FedEx delivers, we have no control over customs clearance in countries outside the USA and cannot guarantee these orders. All International orders are at absolute risk to the customer, as possible delays could be longer than the product will stay viable.
FedEx Tracking Email: We will generate your shipping label and email your FedEx tracking number before FedEx picks up your package. The shipping labels are processed based on the address provided in the order, as confirmed in the order acknowledgment. Since perishable food items are being shipped, Raw Living Spirulina will not guarantee the condition of the package or its original delivery time if FedEx reroutes it due to incorrect addresses. Upon receiving the order confirmation, customers must inform Raw Living Spirulina immediately of any address changes. Customers agree to monitor the package’s status using the FedEx tracking number and take full responsibility for ensuring their availability to receive and inspect the package promptly. Customers also agree to contact FedEx if the package cannot be delivered on the designated delivery day, making arrangements for immediate pickup once it is available.
Package Delivery: Upon delivering a package by FedEx, customers receive automatic delivery emails. Shipments are typically delivered Wednesday through Friday, depending on the location and ship day. Raw Living Spirulina, being perishable, must be promptly stored in the refrigerator or freezer upon delivery. Someone needs to be present to receive the package on the delivery date. Custom coolers are designed to maintain the product at low temperatures inside the box for approximately 2-3 days, depending on ambient temperatures. The product should be removed from the cooler within this timeframe and stored in the refrigerator or freezer. Failure to retrieve the package from FedEx within 3 hours of delivery will nullify any claims for delayed damage to the product. In case of non-delivery, customers must inform Raw Living Spirulina on the same day as receiving the delivery email notification.
Raw Living Spirulina has little control over the exact delivery times of packages once they leave the farm via FedEx. We are not authorized to manage deliveries to customers’ addresses with specific instructions such as door codes, access numbers, or delivery instructions. Customers must sign up for the FedEx Delivery Manager to address these concerns. This allows them to manage specific delivery instructions and receive automatic package updates directly from FedEx.
During summertime heat advisories, customers residing in hot locations (at or above 90 degrees Fahrenheit) during the delivery week are advised to select the overnight upgrade option. Packages shipped to these areas without the upgrade are not guaranteed and are at the customer’s risk. FedEx may leave packages outside in direct sunlight, so it is recommended to designate a specific area where the package can be left safely or choose an alternate local pickup location through the FedEx tracking link or FedEx Delivery Manager.

An alternative solution would be to order bulk quantities in the spring and freeze for the summer months.
Right to Cancel: The cancellation policy states that customers have the right to cancel an order, but this can only be done at least 24 hours before the product is shipped. Raw Living Spirulina is specifically grown and harvested based on orders received. To make any changes to an order, customers must submit a written request via email at least 24 hours before the first harvest date of the week, which occurs every Monday.
Subscription Accounts are set up to automatically renew orders based on the frequency selected by the account holder. Computer systems generate renewal orders on Saturdays, and orders are shipped out Monday through Wednesday in the order they were received. The Saturday renewal schedule allows customers ample time to make necessary changes to their orders and helps the company prepare for the upcoming weekly harvest amounts. If any modifications are needed, customers must notify us via email by Sunday 9 pm EST. Failure to do so will result in the order being processed and shipped out in sequence between Monday and Wednesday. Customers who wish to adjust their subscription details, such as delivery date, frequency, or quantity, can log into their dashboard or reply to their order receipt with the specific changes. Customer dashboard changes made to an account will only affect future orders. Current orders in processing changes must be made in writing via email by Sunday 9 pm EST. Subscription accounts require a minimum of three orders.
Product Damage: If a FedEx error or delay causes damage to your product, we will send a replacement order on the next available shipping day. To initiate this process, you must promptly (within 2 hours of receipt, as confirmed by the FedEx Proof of Delivery document) email digital photos of the damaged box, label, and product to sales@rawlivingspirulina.com. Please comply within this timeframe to avoid voiding any product replacement claim. Unless an overnight upgrade is selected, we will not replace or refund product damage with on-time deliveries due to high temperatures (90F+) at the delivery location.
The customer acknowledges that Fresh Spirulina is a living food. The delicate living cells of Fresh Spirulina may start to break open at any time within ten days after harvesting. Customers must keep the product cold and consume it before the best-by date specified on the lid. The cells are not guaranteed to remain intact by this date or after. Upon delivery, customers are required to open the jar(s) and immediately inspect the quality of the Spirulina. If signs of cellular breakdown, such as blue liquid, are noticed, customers must email us with accompanying pictures within 24 hours of delivery. Failure to adhere to this timeframe will render any claims regarding the product’s delivery condition invalid.
