Right to Cancel: Raw Living Spirulina is a perishable whole living food. This means that unfortunately the right to cancel an order does not apply once the product has been shipped. Your fresh Spirulina is grown and harvested by order, please contact us in writing (via email) at least 24 hours before the week’s first harvest date (every Sunday) for any changes to your order.
Subscription Accounts: Renewal orders will be automatically computer-generated on Saturdays set by the frequency selected on the account. We ship orders Monday-Wednesday in the order received. Saturday renewals will provide ample buffer time for customers to notify us in case changes need to be made and prepare us for the upcoming weekly harvest amounts. If any changes are necessary, please notify us via email by Sunday 9 pm EST. If we do not hear from you by this time we will process your order and ship it Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday in the order received. If you would like to make adjustments to your subscription, i.e. date, frequency, amount, etc. please log into your dashboard to make these changes or you can send us an email with the specific changes you would like and we will make the changes for you. Account changes will not apply to current orders in processing unless requested in writing before the order is shipped. Subscription accounts require a 3 order minimum.
FedEx Tracking Email: Raw Living Spirulina will process and email your FedEx tracking number within 24 hours your order is to be picked up by FedEx. We process the shipping labels to the address you provide in the order; which is confirmed on the order acknowledgment. We are shipping perishable goods and cannot guarantee the condition or original delivery time of the package if FedEx re-routes due to incorrect addresses so please be sure to notify us immediately of any changes.
Tracking and Receipt of your Order: The customer agrees to pay close attention to the status of the package via the FedEx tracking number and to take full responsibility to be available to receive and inspect the package immediately upon delivery. The customer also agrees to notify FedEx if the package wasn’t able to be delivered on the “out for the delivery day” and make immediate arrangements to retrieve the package as soon as the package is available for pickup. Failure of the customer to retrieve the package from FedEx within 3 hours of availability voids any delayed damage to the product.
Package Delivery: Emails are automatically sent to the customer upon delivery of the package by FedEx. The customer agrees to notify Raw Living Spirulina on the same day of this delivery email notification if the package is not received. The customer agrees to notify Raw Living Spirulina via email (with pictures) immediately (within 4 hours of delivery) if there is any damage to the package or its contents, failure to do so within this time voids any claim for product damage.
Damage: If your product arrives damaged due to FedEx error or delay we will reship a new order on the next available shipping day. Promptly, (within 4 hours of receiving, verified by the FedEx Proof of delivery document) send, via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) Raw Living Spirulina digital pictures electronically with the date/time/location stamp of the box and product immediately upon receipt.
Perishable Food: Raw Living Spirulina is a perishable food and needs to be refrigerated immediately upon delivery. We will not be held responsible for damaged products due to customers not being available upon delivery to collect and place immediately into the refrigerator or freezer. Our custom coolers are sufficient to maintain the product at low temperatures inside the box for up to 3 days maximum. The product must be removed from the cooler and placed into the refrigerator or freezer within this time.
Living Food: Raw Living Spirulina is a raw unpasteurized unprocessed whole live food. It is essential that customers DO NOT cross-contaminate this food with animal products of any kind. The customer agrees to consume the product before the date on the lid if kept in the refrigerator or to freeze before this date and to consume within 3 months of the harvest date if frozen. The customer agrees to keep the product cold at all times.
Harvesting: We harvest fresh every week on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday when the Spirulina reaches its harvestability stage. We do not freeze or process our fresh Raw Living Spirulina. Raw Living Spirulina Gourmet Supreme is packaged in glass jars within 12 hours of harvest after it cools to bring the core temperature down to 38 degrees F. before shipping the next day. We only harvest orders that are in Processing.
Shipping: We ship Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday via FedEx, with 1-2 day delivery times depending on your location in the order received. Due to weather, cleaning & culture refresh cycles, harvest amounts, holidays, and sales volume your order may need to be pushed forward as needed. If this is done we will manually adjust the subscription dates accordingly. If the customer does not receive a shipment tracking notification and the email is correct with us, the order has not yet been shipped, please be patient as we are doing everything possible to get on the way as fast as possible.
International Shipping: Although we can ship anywhere FedEx delivers we have no control over customs clearance in countries outside the USA, we cannot guarantee these orders. It is the full risk of the customer if they would like to accept this as possible delays could be longer than the product will stay viable.
Receiving: Raw Living Spirulina is perishable and must be placed in the refrigerator or freezer immediately upon delivery. It is important that someone is available to receive the package on the date it arrives.
Most shipments are delivered Wednesday – Friday depending on location and ship day.
We (Raw Living Spirulina) have no control over the final delivery of your package once it leaves our farm. We also are not authorized to manage deliveries to customers’ addresses with specific instructions, ie. door codes, access numbers, or delivery instructions. Please do not add these to your order here. This must be done by you, the recipient of the package through the FedEx Delivery Manager. Please sign up for FedEx delivery manager to manage all these specific delivery instructions and receive automatic updates on your packages.
Summertime thoughts: If you live in a warm/hot location where FedEx leaves packages outside where the sun is directly overhead, we highly recommend that you consider creating a designated (FedEx) cool shaded space in which the package can be left or contact us for overnight shipping options.
