Perishable Living Food: Raw Living Spirulina is a raw unpasteurized, unprocessed whole live food that must always be kept cold. Customers must refrain from cross-contaminating this food with animal products of any kind. The customer agrees to consume the product before the date on the lid if kept in the refrigerator or to freeze immediately when received and to consume within three months of the harvest date if frozen. The customer agrees to keep the product cold at all times.
Harvesting: We harvest fresh every Monday & Tuesday when the Spirulina reaches its harvestability stage. We do not freeze or process our Raw Living Spirulina. Instead, Raw Living Spirulina is packaged in glass jars within 12 hours of harvest after it cools to 38-40 degrees F. before shipping the next day. We only harvest orders that are in Processing.
Shipping: We ship Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday via FedEx, with 1-2 day delivery times depending on your location in the order received. Due to weather, cleaning & culture refresh cycles, harvest amounts, holidays, and sales volume, your order may need to be pushed forward. If this is done, we will manually adjust the subscription dates accordingly. Shipment tracking notifications are automatically sent to the email on file when the label is created; if you have not received this, the order has not yet been shipped; please be patient as we are doing everything possible to get on the way as fast as possible.
International Shipping: Although we can ship anywhere FedEx delivers, we have no control over customs clearance in countries outside the USA and cannot guarantee these orders. All International orders are at absolute risk to the customer, as possible delays could be longer than the product will stay viable.
FedEx Tracking Email: Raw Living Spirulina will process your shipping label and email your FedEx tracking number before being picked up by FedEx. We process the shipping labels to the address you provided in the order, confirmed by the order acknowledgment. We are shipping perishable food and cannot guarantee the package’s condition or original delivery time if FedEx re-routes due to incorrect addresses. Please notify us immediately of any changes upon receipt of the order. The customer agrees to pay close attention to the package status via the FedEx tracking number and take full responsibility for being available to receive and review the package as soon as possible. The customer also agrees to notify FedEx if the box can’t be delivered on the “out for the delivery day” to make immediate same-day arrangements to retrieve the package as soon as the package is available for pickup.
Package Delivery: Delivery emails are automatically sent to the customer upon delivery of the package by FedEx. Most shipments are delivered Wednesday – Friday, depending on location and ship day. Raw Living Spirulina is perishable and must be placed in the refrigerator or freezer immediately upon delivery. Someone must be available to receive the package on the date it arrives. Our custom coolers are sufficient to maintain the product at low temperatures inside the box for approximately 2-3 days, depending on ambient temperatures. The product must be removed from the cooler and placed into the refrigerator or freezer within this time. Failure of the customer to retrieve the package from FedEx within 3 hours of availability voids any delayed damage to the product. If the package is not delivered, the customer agrees to notify Raw Living Spirulina on the same day of this delivery email notification.
Raw Living Spirulina has no control over the final delivery exact times of your package once it leaves our farm via FedEx. We also are not authorized to manage deliveries to customers’ addresses with specific instructions, i.e., door codes, access numbers, or delivery instructions. Please sign up for the FedEx delivery manager to manage these particular instructions and receive automatic updates on your packages directly from FedEx.
Summertime Heat Advisement: If you live in a hot location (above 85 degrees F) the week of delivery, you must select the overnight upgrade. All packages shipped to those areas without the upgrade are not guaranteed and are at the customer’s risk. Where FedEx leaves packages outside where the sun is directly overhead. Consider creating a designated (FedEx) space * the package can be left, and or select an alternate local pickup location for your package via the FedEx tracking link or FedEx Delivery Manager.

Right to Cancel: Raw Living Spirulina is a perishable whole-living food. This means the right to cancel an order only applies at least 24 hours before the product is shipped. Raw Living Spirulina is grown and harvested by order; please get in touch with us in writing (via email) at least 24 hours before the week’s first harvest date (every Monday) for any changes to your order.
Subscription Accounts: Renewal orders will be automatically computer-generated on Saturdays, set by the frequency selected on the account. We ship orders Monday – Wednesday in the order received. Saturday renewals will provide ample buffer time for customers to notify us if changes need to be made and prepare us for the upcoming weekly harvest amounts. If any changes are necessary, please notify us via email by Sunday 9 pm EST. If we don’t hear from you by this time, we will process your order and ship it Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday in the order received. If you would like to adjust your subscription, i.e., date, frequency, amount, etc., please log into your dashboard to make these changes, or reply to us via your order receipt with the specific changes you would like, and we will make the changes for you. So that you know, account changes will not apply to current orders in processing unless requested in writing before the order is shipped. Subscription accounts require a three-order minimum.
Damage: If your product arrives damaged due to a FedEx error or delay, we will reship a new order on the next available shipping day. Promptly (within 2 hours of receiving, verified by the FedEx Proof of the delivery document) send, via email (email@example.com) Raw Living Spirulina digital pictures of the box and label and product immediately upon receipt; failure to do so within this time voids any claim for the product damage. We will not reship or refund packages damaged with on-time deliveries due to high temperatures without the overnight upgrade.
