Raw Living Spirulina is a raw, unpasteurized, and unprocessed whole food that requires constant refrigeration or freezing to maintain its quality and safety. Customers must avoid cross-contamination with animal products during handling and consumption. If stored in the refrigerator, the product should be consumed before the indicated best-by date. Alternatively, it should be frozen immediately upon receipt and consumed within three months of harvest. It is essential always to keep Fresh Spirulina cold to preserve its freshness and nutritional integrity.
Fresh Raw Living Spirulina is meticulously harvested every Monday and Tuesday when it reaches its peak nutritional value. Unlike traditional Spirulina processing methods, our Spirulina is never frozen or exposed to heat treatments. Instead, it is immediately packaged in glass jars after being cooled to an optimal temperature range of 38°F to 40°F. To preserve its freshness and quality, the freshly packed Spirulina is shipped on the same day as harvesting. Harvesting is performed exclusively for orders that are actively processed, ensuring that no surplus product remains in stock.
Raw Living Spirulina ships orders exclusively via FedEx on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Delivery times generally range from 1 to 2 business days, depending on the recipient’s location and the selected FedEx shipping service. Certain factors may occasionally cause a delay in your order, which may occur and last up to the following week. These factors include, but are not limited to, adverse weather conditions, system cleaning and culture refresh cycles, harvest quantities, holidays, or high sales volume.
Once a shipping label is created for your order, tracking notifications will be automatically sent to the email address associated with your account. If you have not received a tracking notification, your order has not yet been shipped. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work diligently to process and ship your order as efficiently as possible.
Raw Living Spirulina cannot guarantee timely deliveries to business addresses due to potential closures or restricted access at office locations. Customers acknowledge and accept this risk by choosing a business address for shipment.
FedEx requires a 48-hour processing period for address changes once they have possession of a package. As such, Raw Living Spirulina cannot request FedEx to reroute packages after they have been handed over for shipping.
Using P.O. Boxes as a shipping address is not permitted, as Raw Living Spirulina does not utilize the USPS for deliveries.
Upon delivery of a package by FedEx, customers will receive automatic delivery email notifications. Shipments are generally delivered between Wednesday and Friday, depending on the shipping method, destination, and the day the shipment is sent. Raw Living Spirulina, a perishable product, must be immediately stored in a refrigerator or freezer upon receipt. For optimal storage, it is recommended to freeze the product in single-serving portions using ice cube trays. Please don’t freeze the entire jar, as thawing and refreezing are highly discouraged. Someone must be available to receive the package on the scheduled delivery date and within one hour of its arrival. The custom coolers used for shipping are designed to maintain a safe temperature inside the box for approximately 2-3 days, depending on the external ambient conditions.
Customers must remove the product from the cooler within this timeframe and transfer it to refrigeration or freezing storage. Failure to retrieve and properly store the package within one hour of delivery will void any claims related to damage or loss of the package.
If a package is not delivered on the expected FedEx scheduled delivery day (within a 1-2 day timeframe), customers must notify Raw Living Spirulina immediately.
Although we can ship to any location serviced by FedEx, we do not control customs clearance processes in countries outside the United States. Therefore, we cannot guarantee specific delivery times for international orders. All international shipments are made entirely at the customer’s risk, as delays in transit or customs may exceed the timeframe during which the product remains fresh and cold.
Raw Living Spirulina has limited control over the precise delivery times of packages once they are dispatched from the farm via FedEx. The company is not authorized to manage or modify deliveries to customers’ addresses with specific instructions such as door codes, access numbers, or other delivery preferences. Customers are strongly encouraged to sign up for FedEx Delivery Manager, which provides tools to customize and manage delivery options, addressing these concerns.
During periods of extreme heat, particularly when temperatures in the delivery area reach or exceed 90°F, customers residing in these regions are advised to select the overnight shipping upgrade option for the week of shipping. Packages shipped without this upgrade to hot locations are not guaranteed and will be shipped at the customer’s risk. FedEx may leave packages outdoors in direct sunlight, which can compromise the quality of the products. Customers are encouraged to designate a secure and temperature-appropriate location for package delivery or arrange an alternate local pickup location using the FedEx tracking link or FedEx Delivery Manager.

To ensure product integrity upon arrival, customers should prepare one of the following spaces for package drop-off:

A large cooler capable of accommodating the order size box:

Alternatively, customers may consider ordering bulk quantities during cooler months (e.g., spring) and storing them in the freezer for use throughout the summer.
Raw Living Spirulina is cultivated and harvested specifically for customer orders. To request changes or cancel an open order, customers must submit a written request via email by 11:00 PM EST on the Sunday preceding the order’s processing date.
Accounts are configured to automatically renew orders according to the renewal frequency selected by the account holder. Our computer software systems generate renewal orders every Saturday, aligning them with the chosen subscription frequency. Based on the received order, these orders are scheduled for processing the following week. This Saturday renewal schedule ensures customers have sufficient time to adjust their orders and allows us to prepare efficiently for the upcoming weekly harvest quantities.
If customers need to make modifications, they must notify us via email by 11:00 PM EST on Sunday. Customers can adjust their subscription details, including delivery date, frequency, or quantity, by logging into their dashboard or emailing us with specific requests. Please note that changes made through the customer dashboard will only take effect for future orders and will not affect any current or past orders that are already being processed.
In cases of shipping delays, we manually adjust the renewal dates to make sure your selected delivery frequency is maintained without disruption.
A minimum of three orders is required for all subscription accounts.
Upon receiving your delivery, please inspect the quality of the fresh Spirulina and verify the temperature of the jars immediately. They should also examine the condition of the ice bricks; if they are warm, please email us as soon as possible. If signs of cellular breakdown are observed—such as blue liquid or an unusual smell—customers must email us at sales@rawlivingspirulina.com with accompanying photos within 4 hours of delivery.
If your package arrives after the originally scheduled delivery date due to a delay in the tracking timeline, please let us know as soon as possible. Please don’t consume any product in transit for more than 3 days without consulting us first. Failure to adhere to this timeframe will render any claims regarding the product’s condition upon delivery invalid.
If a FedEx error or delay damages your product, we will issue a replacement order on the next shipping day. To qualify for a replacement, customers must email us within 4 hours of delivery (as confirmed by FedEx Proof of Delivery) with clear photos showing the damaged box, shipping label, and product. Please send these materials to sales@rawlivingspirulina.com within this timeframe to ensure you’re eligible for a replacement claim.
We do not provide replacements or refunds for products delivered on time but exposed to high temperatures (90°F or higher) at the delivery location unless an overnight shipping upgrade was selected during checkout.
All correspondence regarding accounts or orders must be conducted in writing and sent via email to sales@rawlivingspirulina.com from the customer’s registered email address. Any changes requested to accounts, such as updates to personal information or modifications to orders (including cancellations, adjustments, or other changes), must also be submitted in writing via email. Phone calls, text messages, or social media communications are not acceptable forms of communication for account or order changes.
